This conference is organised in collaboration with the French OZCAR and German TERENO networks have decided to co-organise an international meeting every two years that will be held alternatively in Germany and in France. This meeting follows two previous international meetings organized by TERENO in 2014 (Bonn) and in 2018 (Berlin).
The event will offer keynote lectures and poster sessions reflecting the cutting edge of Critical Zone research, aiming at a better understanding of the most superficial layer of the planet where all human activities concentrate. The meeting will also help a better integrated process understanding using multidisciplinary Critical Zone observatories. Associated to the event, a visit of the Strengbach Critical Zone Watershed (http://ohge.unistra.fr/) is planned on October 4.
