Appel à contributions: Joint Conference on Forests and Water 2018 à Valdivia, Chili

The Joint Conference on Forests and Water 2018, which brings together the II Congreso Latinoamericano Bosques y Agua and the V IUFRO Conference on Forests and Water in a Changing Environment, from November 5 to 9 in Valvidia (Chile), is ready to receive abstracts on the twelve topics of the conference (http://forestsandwater2018.cl/registro/abstract-submission/). These topics are related to forest hydrology, watershed management, eco-hydrology, climate and climate change (http://forestsandwater2018.cl/programa/temas/). The main objective of the event is to promote science as a basis for the sustainable development of forest ecosystems, both native forests and plantations, water resources and aquatic ecosystems in a context of climate change. Abstracts submission will be open until May 31.
Message from the Presidents of the Joint Conference (Christian Little of the Chilean Forest Institute, and Kevin Bishop of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences): "We look forward to many abstract contributions from scientists, researchers, resource managers, NGOs and policy-makers related to any of the twelve topics of the conference”.
This meeting is organized jointly by various institutions including IUFRO (International Union of Forest Research Organizations), Universidad Austral de Chile, the Forestry Institute (INFOR), Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Oregon State University, the Center for the Science of Climate and Resilience (CR) 2 and the Native Forest Center Foundation (FORECOS).
